Barbara Kishchuk is a Senior Science Advisor with the Canadian Forest Service, Natural Resources Canada. Her background is as a research scientist in forest soils and sustainability, as well as in international teaching and community-based work. She is currently leading Canadian Forest Service activities on risk assessment of cumulative effects of disturbance in Canada’s boreal zone, with direct application for the science-policy interface.
