Ursule Boyer-Villemaire

Environmental Consultant, Coastal Zone and Climate Change Adaptation
As a geographer, Ursule Boyer-Villemaire holds a master’s in oceanography and a PhD in environmental sciences (coastal vulnerability assessment in Canada and Europe) from the Université du Québec à Rimouski. She currently acts as a consultant in environment, mainly for Ouranos. Her latest contributions were the projection of submersion levels for cost-benefit analysis of adaption options in multiple coastal communities in Quebec. The topics of environment and sustainable management of coastal risks appeal to her, as much as a citizen as a scientist. They are the motor of her engagement, which, she hopes, may contribute to sustainably maintain our well-being.
