Jocelyn Mackie is a member of the management team at Grand Challenges Canada, overseeing the organization’s operations, finance, and government relations efforts. She acts as Secretary to the Board and provides legal and strategic advice to the programs team to enable the many innovators supported by the organization to work towards “Bold Ideas for Big Impact” for global health. Jocelyn also works with Grand Challenges Canada’s many partners to enhance the organization’s investments. She has a JD from the Faculty of Law University of Toronto, an MSc from the University of Toronto, where she jointly authored a book on ethical decision-making in the bioscience industry, and a business degree from Western’s Richard Ivey School of Business. She is called to the Ontario Bar and the New York State Bar
