Currently, Harriet is an Industrial Technology Advisor with the National Research Council IRAP Program in Kingston, Ontario. IRAP has a long history of providing excellent technical and business advisory services related to research and development, including strategic intelligence and customized solutions to business needs. Through IRAP’s comprehensive services, clients are better equipped to perform research and development, commercialize new products, processes and services, and access new domestic and international markets. We are committed to improving the long-term competitiveness of firms in Canada and helping to build a competitive advantage for Canada based on excellence in science and technology.

Harriet’s experience in business and technology has includes corporate (oil and banking) and SME as owner/operator of two small technology companies.   She brings her expertise to clients and her community where she volunteers with numerous technology not-for-profits.


Harriet holds a B.A. Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.  She is a Professional Engineer and a Board Member of SWITCH, Kingston.
