Marianne Lahaie Luna

Marianne is a 4th year Student at the University of Ottawa studying Bachelors of Science with Honours in Environmental Science and specializing in Global Change.  In the summer of 2016, Marianne interned at Environment and Climate Change Canada’s Science and Technology Strategies Directorate, Science and Technology Policy Division. She is currently a research assistant at the Advanced Research Complex, A.E. Lalonde Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) Laboratory working on research analyzing Black Carbon in Canada’s Arctic.  Concurrently, she is a research assistant at the University of Ottawa’s Department of Medicine working on Public Health research focusing on the effects of crustal particulates to human health.  Previously, Marianne participated as a research assistant in Science Education research at the University of Ottawa’s department of Biology and Education.
