Michael Hendricks is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at McGill University. He conducts fundamental research on how the environment and stress affect the development and function of the nervous system. Dr. Hendricks’ career has given him experience with funding systems in Singapore, the United States, and Canada. In response to recent changes at CIHR, he and others founded the Association of Canadian Early Career Health Researchers, a group that advocates for sustainable and equitable investment in the future of Canadian science and best practices for lowering entry barriers for young scientists.
