Naser Faruqui is the Director of Technology and Innovation at Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC). He leads a global team that helps developing countriesuse science, technology, and innovation for sustainable and equitable development. He has moderated many high level panels, including at AAAS meetings, the Open Government Partnership, and Economic Forum of the Americas. His areas of expertise include science diplomacy, science and innovation landscapes, science, technology and innovation policy, water management, urbanization, and open access to research outputs.
