Tina Saryeddine is Executive Director, Research & Innovation at HealthCareCAN, the national voice of healthcare organizations in Canada.  In her role at HealthCareCAN, Tina leads the research and innovation portfolio and works with members, colleagues and partners on advocating for winning policy and funding conditions for research and innovation in hospitals; expediting the

spread of innovation and  translation of research knowledge; and advancing national recognition of the research and innovation enterprise in these organizations.  Between 2008 and 2014, Tina was Assistant Vice-President of Research and Policy Analysis at the Association of Canadian Academic Healthcare Organizations, one of the two legacy organizations that merged to form HealthCareCAN in 2014. She has a PhD in management and organizations research from the institute of health policy, management and evaluation the University of Toronto and an MHA from the University of Ottawa. Tina’s projects have received several awards and grants related to knowledge transfer and exchange including, a CIHR Community Outreach Award, the Ted Freedman Award for innovation in education, a Hygeia Award, among others. She is a member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders from which she holds the Certified Health Executive designation and an adjunct Professor at the Telfer School of Management.
